Reliance Industries and Tata Consultancy Services were the biggest gainers last week, with the total market valuation of seven of the top 10 most valued companies rising by Rs 1,51,140.39 crore.
While HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC had declines in market value, Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Infosys, State Bank of India, and Bharti Airtel saw increases.
The BSE benchmark increased by 772.01 points, or 1.25 percent, last week.
Reliance Industries increased its value by Rs. 43,131.02 crore, bringing it to Rs. 16,95,833.65 crore.
TCS's market capitalization (mcap) increased by Rs 39,243,32 to Rs 12,18,098.20.
The market capitalization of ITC increased by Rs 29,578.69 crore to Rs 5,51,431.15 crore, while that of Infosys increased by Rs 20,171.09 crore to Rs 5,46,662.99 crore.
State Bank of India's value increased by Rs 9,638.58 crore to Rs 5,22,848.39 crore, while Bharti Airtel's valuation increased by Rs 6,981.11 crore to Rs 4,56,031.45 crore.
Hindustan Unilever increased its Mcap by Rs 2,396.58 billion to Rs 6,23,017.62 billion.
However, the value of HDFC Bank decreased by Rs 17,825.74 to Rs 9,02,742.36.
The market capitalization of HDFC plummeted by Rs 11,382.46 billion to Rs 4,88,466.16 billion, while that of ICICI Bank fell by Rs 2,642.52 billion to Rs 6,64,553.58 billion.
Reliance Industries maintained its position as the most valuable company in the top-10 list of companies, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Infosys, State Bank of India, HDFC, and Bharti Airtel.
