According to a source, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Itel, plans to release the Itel A70 with either 128GB or 256GB of built-in storage when it launches in India. Online leaks of the forthcoming smartphone’s design have shown four color variations and a sizable notch in the screen for the selfie camera module. The phone is also said to be the first under Rs. 8,000 in this price range to launch with 256GB of storage.

The Itel A70 will be the first smartphone in India to be priced around Rs. 8,000 with 256GB of built-in storage, according to a 91Mobiles story that cites anonymous sources. The rumor claims that the company’s future smartphone would also include 12GB of RAM, which includes 4GB of virtual RAM that may utilize the phone’s unused storage as virtual memory.

An additional photograph of the device in four colorways can be seen in the story. According to the source, the business will release the Itel A60’s replacement in green, light blue, blow, and yellow color variants. The assertion that the smartphone would come with 128GB and 256GB of storage is also supported by the photograph.

The Itel A70 is shown to sport a broad display notch cutout that houses the selfie camera and a front-facing LED flash, coupled with a huge chin and thick bezels on the other sides. Given that the left side is only visible when the SIM tray is in place, it seems that the power and volume controls are on the right spine.

The Itel A70’s launch date in India has not yet been announced by the manufacturer, and none of the specs listed in the story have been verified. Two months after the phone’s October introduction in India with 2GB and 32GB of RAM, the phone manufacturer released a 4GB+64GB RAM and storage version of the Itel A05s smartphone in the nation earlier this month, priced at Rs. 6,099.
